"I have to admit I was skeptical to purchase the PHI due to it's low price tag. Let me tell you, this was the best $70 I've ever spent in my LIFE!! I thought you had to spend $130+ to get a good iron!! I was very seriously looking into getting my hair chemically straightened (costs almost $1000) because I felt my hair had no hope of ever being straight. My hair, naturally, is very thick, curly, frizzy, and poofy. I decided to purchase the PHI; after its first usage, my hair looked like it belonged in a magazine. It looked absolutely perfect. I slept on it for three days, was out in the humid (90 degree) weather ALL day, and my hair retained itself perfectly. It not only is smooth and sleek, it is shinier than it has ever been also. THIS ITEM IS A MUST HAVE IF YOU WANT STRAIGHT HAIR, HANDS DOWN! Do not buy anything else because it is expensive, trust me! This beauty is worth hundreds of dollars and has given me confidence that I never had before. Thanks PHI!!!!"

"I have used several flat irons throughout the past few years. Store brands such as Conair,Solia, Corlioliss,etc. Nothing was ever good enough on my hair. I have very thin hair, with a bit of a curl to it, and it gets very frizzy in humidity, and hot weather. The store brand straighteners just didn't cut it, i would have to straighten my hair multiple times throughout the day just to keep it straight. My friend had a CHI iron because her mom was a hair dresser, and i fell in love with it. It worked much better than any iron i have had before. UNTIL, i decided to buy one of my own, i did some research online, and found all these different brands of irons, and i saw the PHI Ionic Flat Iron and decided to give it a try. It was definitely worth the purchase. It was shipped to my house just a day and a half after i bought it online. It works amazing, keeps my hair straight even in the heat, and it only takes a few minutes to heat up, and to straighten my hair. It also worked much better than the CHI did. I LOVE IT!!!"

"Ok so I have been wanting this flat iron for a long long time but in the beginning I thought that the CHI would definitely be the better choice.
6th grade: i got a 85 dollar Wigo that worked pretty good
7th grade: i got a CHI turbo for my birthday and thought that it worked amazing ; and it worked really good but not half as good as the PHI !!!!!!!
8th grade: still using the CHI but noticing that it is not heating up as well =/ over the summer i get an SEDU flat iron that works pretty good if not better -but damaging to the hair- but eventually the plates "tourmaline" paint stuff beginning chipping off.
9th grade: decide that i need to maybe invest some money into a flat iron to get a good deal. I had wanted a PHI since like forever after reading the reviews but figured that it was not half as good as the CHIs because everyone has the CHIs. I had to earn the money for the PHI because my mom was sick of buying flat irons for me so many times...I bought the PHI at Aveda, and it works AMAZING. Today i ran the mile and my hair was still perfectly straight-it was amazing soooo much better than the chi ; my hair is so much healthier that my dad even noticed! I LOVVVVVE PHI...my hair is soooo perfect looking now...NO MORE BAD HAIR DAYS!"

"I have used many flat irons in the past. None of which gave me the shine, or straightness like this iron has done. I am also a hair dresser, and am selling them like crazy to my customers. They all love it! I would recomend this product to anyone."

"Okay I am a hairdresser and you see many different tools come and go, but these flat irons are the all time best irons I have ever used. They totally make anyones hair feel like silk. I don't care what kind of hair you may have because these flat irons do the trick. You can waste as much money as you want on any other flat iron out there, but the thing is when you purchase this flat iron it will NOT be a waste of your money!!!"

"This is a great straightener - heats up quickly and works really well on my hair. It doesn't take nearly as long as other flat irons to get my hair sleek and beautiful. Also - so cheap!"

"I still don’t know how to say it correctly PHI....but it is AMAZING!! Not all flat irons are created equal! I have extremely coarse curly hair and (with other hair care products and pre blow drying) it makes my hair board straight and silky! I already had a Ceramic Flat Iron from Target, and a friend let me borrow her PHI Ionic Pro Ceramic Flat Iron and I only accepted not to be rude...and I am so glad I did...I bought one the next day. (and I shopped around – phibeauty.com was BY FAR the cheapest - even my stylist was amazed it was better than her Farouk Chi Ceramic Flat Iron she paid over $130 for!!!!"
